1. INTRODUCTION

The Star Traveler loyalty Club (hereinafter, the Programme or Club) is a loyalty club owned by Eurostars Hotel Company, S.L. (hereinafter EUROSTARS), located at Calle Mallorca No 351, 08013 Barcelona, with Tax ID Number B64930910. Its purpose is to reward and/or compensate the loyalty of guests of EUROSTARS hotels. The Programme shall be governed by these general terms and conditions (hereinafter, the “Terms and Conditions”), which outline the operation of the Programme, as well as the process of obtaining and redeeming benefits by its holders (hereinafter, the “Holder”).

2. PARTICIPATION IN THE PROGRAMME

2.1. Programme Holders

Individuals aged 18 and above are eligible to become Programme Holders. A Holder will designate individuals with an account in the Club linked to their name and email address.

To enjoy all the benefits, earn points and accumulate stays, completing registration by activating the account and accessing the personal area of the website is necessary

2.2. Registration Process

Registration in the Star Traveler Club is free. Individuals aged 18 and above can register for the Club through: (i) registration on the platform; (ii) acceptance of the Star Traveler club invitation sent via email; (iii) during the booking process on the EUROSTARS website; or (iv) in person at any EUROSTARS establishments.

By submitting their registration request to the Programme, the Holder unreservedly accepts the Terms and Conditions applicable to them, in accordance with the clauses in force at any given time.

The Holder shall be solely responsible for the accuracy of the personal data provided, as well as for their subsequent updating, using the various channels provided for this purpose.

2.3. Star Traveler Account

The Star Traveler account (the “Account”) is personal, individual and non-transferable, identifying the holder with their personal data and credentials, enabling them to participate in the Programme.

The transmission, sale, purchase, exchange or total or partial assignment of an Account and/or the points accumulated therein is prohibited by any means, except in cases expressly authorised in these conditions.

2.4. Earning Points and Accumulating Stays

Holders will earn points (the “Points”) in their Account under the following circumstances:

For each actual stay by the Holder at any EUROSTARS hotel made through one of the official channels (defined as the website www.eurostarshotels.com, the EUROSTARS booking phone department and EUROSTARS-owned establishments that participate in the loyalty program, hereinafterthe “Official Channels”). Stays booked through third-party platforms, with negotiated rates or through a Corporate account do not count towards stays in Star Traveler accounts or qualify for membership benefits during these stays. However, points generated during these stays can be accumulated for future bookings made through Eurostars’ direct channels. Points and stays are credited to the booking Guest. Loyalty customers who book but do not stay do not accumulate points or stays.
For additional expenses incurred during the stay at a EUROSTARS hotel, provided they are billed to the room.

In all the above cases, the Points and stays will be reflected in the Holder’s Account at check-out. The holder earns points for a maximum of 2 rooms, provided they settle (pay) for both rooms.

Holders will not earn Points in the following circumstances:

For stays fully paid with redeemed points.
In the case of stays partially paid by Points redemption, the Holder will earn Points only for the cash portion of the payment
For stays enjoyed or booked before the Programme registration date. In the event of Points promotions, the specific terms and conditions of each promotion will apply.
Payment of tourist taxes, tips and services external to the hotel’s operation does not contribute to point accumulation.

2.5. Categories and Stays

Holders will be assigned a specific category, determining the benefits they can obtain from the Programme.

The Programme features three categories based on the stays accumulated by the Holder at participating hotels within a one-year period. The Programme will award categories according to the following criteria:

Star Traveler Blue: 1 to 5 bookings in a year
Star Traveler Silver: 6 to 20 bookings in a year
Star Traveler Gold: More than 20 bookings in a year

EUROSTARS reserves the right to assign any of the mentioned categories, along with other unique benefits, to certain Holders, which, under specific circumstances and in EUROSTARS’ interest, it may deem suitable without requiring them to meet the conditions outlined here.

All actual stays, including bookings made, paid for, enjoyed and completed at EUROSTARS establishments, will be considered as bookings. Cancelled bookings do not accumulate stays or points.

Consecutive bookings count as a single stay; therefore, if two bookings are made at the same establishment for consecutive dates, only the first one will count for the Programme.

If the Holder makes two bookings, one for themselves and another for another guest (whether or not the latter is a Star Traveler), it will only accumulate its own stay to level up.

In the event that a person with a booking through the Official Channels wishes to enrol in the Programme at check-in, they will not receive a discount, but they will earn points and their stay will be counted.

Stays will not be counted in the following cases:

In case of non-payment or cancellation of the booking.
For stays not booked through the Official Channels.
For stays booked through a Corporate account.
For stays booked with a negotiated rate.
For stays booked with a special group rate.
For stays enjoyed or booked before the date of registration in the programme.

Customers who have accumulated the necessary number of stays to reach a higher category will automatically access their new level, although they will be notified of the change by email.

2.6. Claims and Points Redemption System

Holders can claim stays or Points that were not accurately recorded in their Account by contacting the following email address: startraveler@eurostarshotelcompany.com, providing the booking reference number. Unaccounted points can only be claimed for stays made after the launch of the new program on February 21, 2024.

3. PROGRAMME BENEFITS

The Holder can only enjoy the Programme benefits at EUROSTARS Chain establishments.

The various club categories offeer the following benefits:

Star Traveler Blue: 10% discount on each stay, complimentary bottle of water, accumulation of one point per euro spent on the booking and during the stay, 5% discount on wellness and dining services and a birthday gift.
Star Traveler Silver: 10% discount on each stay, bottle of water, accumulation of one point per euro spent on the booking and during the stay, 10% discount on wellness and dining services, birthday gift, complimentary buffet breakfast, guaranteed late check-out & early check-in.
Star Traveler Gold: 10% discount on each stay, accumulation of one point per euro spent on the booking and during the stay, 15% discount on wellness and dining services, birthday gift, complimentary buffet breakfast, guaranteed late check-out & early check-in, room upgrade (subject to availability), complimentary slippers and bathrobe.

Gold members (formerly Star Traveler Gold) with an outstanding free stay can enjoy it until 31/12/2024.

Gold and Silver members can enjoy guaranteed early check-in from 12:00 pm and late check-out until 2:00 pm. If an extension is required, guests must contact reception to check availability. During peak occupancy periods and for last-minute bookings, the service may be unavailable.

Codes generated from the old “missing you” survey with a 10% discount cannot be combined with the new Star Traveler rate with a 10% discount.

Discounts on dining and wellness will be applicable to services booked at the hotel and billed to the room. Services outside the hotel’s operations are not included.

The following hotels do not provide complimentary breakfast for Silver and Gold levels:

The benefits received through the Programme cannot be combined with or accrued from other loyalty programmes unless EUROSTARS decides otherwise.

The following establishments do not participate in the loyalty programme:Apartamentos Metrópolis, Apartamentos Prat de les Molleres, Eurostars Araguaney, Eurostars Diana Palace, Eurostars Oporto, Eurostars Palacio Buenavista, Exe Alameda Reforma, Exe Ciudad de Córdoba, Exe Layos Golf, Exe Prisma, Exe Princep, Exe São Lázaro, Exe Wellington, Hotel Río Badajoz, Ikonik Hotel Puebla, Ikonik Miraflores.

4. REDEMPTION AND USE OF POINTS

4.1. Use of Points

Every Euro spent equals one point.

The Holder may redeem their points for hotel stay bookings at EUROSTARS HOTEL COMPANY upon arrival at the establishment.

To redeem Points, a minimum of 500 Points is required. EUROSTARS may set a maximum number of points to be spent per booking. When redeemed to pay, points are equivalent to 5% of their value in euros. For example, 500 points are equivalent to € 25.

If the balance is insufficient to cover the booking, the difference will be paid using an alternative payment method. If the Points balance exceeds the booking amount, the remaining Points will be retained.

Points can only be redeemed for stays through direct channels, web, call center, hotel... Excluding bookings in the Corporate Area, Eurostars Business PRO.

Points are non-transferable.

The accumulated points can only be redeemed for stays booked through our direct channels: official website, call center, or directly at the hotel.

Reservations made through the corporate area and the Eurostars Business Pro program are excluded.

4.2. Expiration of Points and Stays

Your points are valid for 2 years from the last date of your check-out. We will notify you as the expiration date approaches so you do not lose them. Furthermore, each time you check out, the expiration date of your points will automatically update, extending for another 2 years from that moment. As long as you remain active, your points will continue to be yours.

Regarding the stays necessary for category changes, once the Holder upgrades their level, they have one year to enjoy and maintain it. The resulting level will be automatically assigned.

Each year we will automatically update your level based on the number of reservations you have made at our hotels during the previous year. Once you reach a level, you have a whole year to maintain it.

To stay Silver you must have stayed at least 5 times in the last year, 20 times for Gold. If you do not reach that number of stays you will be downgraded to the level that corresponds to you by number of stays.

5. CANCELLATION OF PARTICIPATION IN THE PROGRAMME

Participation in the Programme does not have an expiration date, but the account may be cancelled, as well as participation in the Programme, for any of the following reasons:

A) At the Holder's request:

At any time, the Holder may unsubscribe as a Star Traveler programme holder by contacting the company at the email address startraveler@eurostarshotelcompany.com.

From the moment their Account is deactivated, the Holder will lose all their Points and benefits

If the Holder is interested in rejoining the Programme, they will need to register again, losing their history of stays and points.

B) At EUROSTARS' request:

EUROSTARS reserves the right to temporarily suspend or permanently terminate any Holder of this Programme in the following cases:

For non-compliance with the current General Terms and Conditions of the Programme.
For engaging in any inappropriate, abusive or fraudulent conduct or action in connection with the Programme.
For irregular payment or inappropriate behaviour at the hotel.
If it is detected that the Account is not being used personally.
For failure to activate the Account after registration within the established and informed timeframes. If activation has not occurred after warnings, the cancellation of the Programme will be communicated.
Due to force majeure circumstances or legal, governmental or other requirements that necessitate the cancellation of the Programme.
When EUROSTARS' business strategy requires it.

In all the aforementioned cases, the Holder will automatically lose the associated Programme benefits.

In each of the cases listed under the above section b), as this is a free Programme for the Holder, they expressly waive any claim for damages from EUROSTARS due to the cancellation of the Programme.

6. MODIFICATIONS AND CANCELLATION OF THE PROGRAMME

EUROSTARS reserves the right to unilaterally cancel or modify the Programme at any time without notifying the holders. Therefore, it reserves the right to partially or completely modify these Terms and Conditions. Any new conditions will be provided to the Holder in the same manner and format as these conditions.

7. PERSONAL DATA PROTECTION

As a result of registration, we inform you about the processing of your personal data, in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 on general data protection:

Data Controller: EUROSTARS
Purpose of processing: Participation in the loyalty programme, receiving commercial information from EUROSTARS/HOTUSA GROUP, including through electronic means, profiling to send you relevant information, as well as monitoring and evolution of the programme. Access to the members’ website area.
Legal basis: Execution of the STAR TRAVELER programme, to which the holder voluntarily subscribes; as a programme customer, you will receive commercial communications based on your profile and history, which you can oppose at any time. The data will be processed to manage your stays in our establishments (booking, check-in, check-out, sending surveys, etc.). Data is also processed for legitimate purposes of fraud prevention and ensuring the proper functioning and security of the platform.
Recipients and transfers: Companies and establishments of EUROSTARS/HOTUSA GROUP (www.eurostarshotels.com, www.grupohotusa.com ).
Storage period: As long as you remain in the programme and deletion is not requested
Rights: Access, rectification, deletion, data portability, opposition or limitation of processing, as well as revoking the consent given by sending a request to the address of the data controller. You can lodge a complaint with the data protection authorities.

8. INTEGRITY

If any provision of these Terms and Conditions or the application of any provision is deemed illegal, invalid or unenforceable, in whole or in part, under any law, such provision shall be considered not included. However, the legality, validity and enforceability of these Terms and Conditions and the application of such provision to other persons or under other circumstances shall not be affected.

9. APPLICABLE LAW

The parties submit to Spanish law and to the jurisdiction and competence of the Courts and Tribunals of Barcelona, expressly waiving any other jurisdiction that may correspond to them, except for mandatory jurisdiction in the case of consumers and users, in which case the competent jurisdiction shall be that corresponding to their domicile.
